Vice Vukov

I’m at work on expanding my vocal repertoire again and was searching for the lyrics to “Ribar Plete Mrižu Svoju.” It’s an exemplary Dalmatian song that was beautifuly committed to tape by Klapa Dalmacija some years ago. I couldn’t find a full mp3 of their rendition, sadly, but I did come across a video of Vice (vee-tsay) Vukov crooning the ballad in Australia in 1968. Vukov was Croatia’s Frank Sinatra, but his incredible story took a sad turn in late 2005. Here’s the video. What a voice.
