Graffiti in Voltino

Posted on January 6, 2007

Ah, Voltino… If there were more jobs in Zagreb, it would be a working class neighborhood ten minutes from the city center. This graffiti is painted onto an apartment building wall that faces Ulica Drvinje. Fine art buff that I am, I prefer graffiti that tells a story or conveys a message rather than the territorial pissing of street tags, but kudos are due the artist(s) for accomplishing something so colorful and elaborate on a fairly busy avenue with no cover.
