Assignment: Croatia

Gradually getting things back on track, planning to return to Croatia next week. I’ve met some extremely nice people in Budapest, but my sinuses ache from the pollution, and my soul pines for clear skies, sunshine and the bright blue water of the Adriatic. If I didn’t already mention it, I discussed my book project with Jagoda Bush of Voice of America ’s Croatian language radio program. The interview was picked up by a number of Croatian news outletss, and several people we met on the journey down the Adriatic coast told me they’d heard about me on the radio or in the newspapers. Whoa.
